Home → Case 38
Another interesting case of a patient with a significant loss of vertical dimension (falling bite), abrasion (weariness) of the front teeth, reduced height of the lower section of the face and significant disturbance of the aesthetics caused by the loss of teeth in the posterior region. The upper incisors were devitalized and machine endodontics with definitive filling of root canals was performed. On the same teeth, fiberglass posts were made, and the construction of metal-ceramic crowns and bridges as well as lower combined work, ie skeletal prostheses with anchors in combination with crowns began. In this way, the chewing function was restored to the patient, the bite was raised, the height of the lower section of the face increased, and of course a smile was restored.
