Zircon ceramic crowns

Thanks to the advancement of technology, it is possible to use the highest quality, modern materials that meet all the demands of functional load, endurance and perfect aesthetics. One of these modern materials is zirconium oxide, a material of exceptional strength and at the same time aesthetic, with which, in combination with the highest quality ceramics, the most natural appearance of crowns is achieved.

ZirkonZahn has developed a special zircon. Prettau zircon is a highly translucent zircon high hardness (1200Mpa). Special painting technique Converting the zircon in the green phase allows complete aesthetics in the construction of prosthetic works without copper ceramics (100% zirconium). Especially in the field of implantology, the advantage of making occlusal plates in the complete zircon without the possibility of opening and opening ceramics (chiping phenomenon) is evident. All critical sites, plates or lumps can be of complete zrkona. Also Prettau Zircon finds its application in the making of fixed restorations in the lateral zones where more mastication forces are pronounced. Prettau zircon is characterized by superior aesthetics and outstanding strength.

Glass ceramic crowns

Glass ceramic crowns meet the high-level requirements of patients. Ceramics fully mimics the optical characteristics of the natural charasteristics of the teeth, such as translucency, transparency and luminescence resulting in crowns, which is almost impossible to distinguish from natural teeth. Since these crowns do not contain metal, there is no coloration of the edge of the gingiva. These crowns are proposed for the front teeth to get superior aesthetics.

Veneers 

Veneers are one of the most common solutions in contemporary aesthetic dentistry to achieve a perfect smile. For the production of veneers minimal preparation is required, ie grinding of teeth, which is why they have an advantage over the full ceramic crown. By making veneers it is possible to correct many irregularities such as abundance, size, position and color of teeth. Fabrication of veneers is possible in only 2-3 visits.

NO PREP veneers

NO PREP veneers are thin, prosthetic, aesthetic substitute whose setting improves the look and smile in its entirety. These veneers are special in that they do not require even the slightest grinding of teeth. They have a strong connection with enamel and serve for:

• Closing the diastema, or the gap between the teeth
• Expansion or extension of crowns
• Correcting the position of the teeth
• Correction of tooth discoloration
• Correction of enamel defects

The production of these veneers is possible in only 2 visits. In the first visit after examination and consultations with the dentist, a tooth impression will be taken and then sent to a laboratory where the most modern CAD / CAM devices fabricate veneer. In the second visit the veneers are cemented with special cements and a bite is checked to ensure that the contacts on the teeth are evenly distributed.

Metal-ceramic crowns

Also in our practice office we also offer metal-ceramic crowns, which are made of metal alloy and which is completely covered with ceramics. The metals used to make these crowns are gold alloys, alloys of other metals (palladium, titanium) or alloys with a base of steel such as nickel or chromium. The advantage of these crowns is their strength and consistency, and are recommended for posterior teeth where strong chewing forces are present.

In addition to this, we also offer dentures with attachements with metal or zircon base as well as complete and partial acrylic dentures, skeletal (Wissil) dentures. On all dentures it is possible to lay five-layer (phisiodens) teeth that give a more natural appearance of teeth.
